Striped ‘Enjoya’ sweet pepper takes 3rd prize at FRUIT LOGISTICA Innovation Award 2016

The red and yellow striped ‘Enjoya’ pepper took 3rd place at FRUIT LOGISTICA in Berlin. Every year there are around 80 entries for this innovation award. From these entries, a jury chooses the 10 products that they believe to be the most innovative. These 10 innovations are then exhibited at Fruit Logistica and visitors can vote for their favourites. Of all of these new and innovative products, Enjoya came in at an impressive 3rd place.
Enjoya is a unique bi-coloured sweet pepper with a sweet and crunchy bite. Enjoya was discovered by the growers of Nature’s Alliance, a member of the growers’ association Harvest House, who developed the optimum growth method for this special product together with their partner Enza Zaden. The peppers are grafted by hand, ripened slowly, and picked at just the right time. The careful cultivation method results in a flavourful sweet pepper, which thanks to its distinctive colour is irresistible even to the smallest consumer.
